Big Game Childcare

With the two teams finalized for the 2011 Super Bowl, it’s time to finalize preparations for the Big Game Party!  While most people will think to make sure they have all the food and drink (little wienies, cheese and crackers, veggie plates, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc)…how many do you think have thought about childcare?  Why not let the kids have a party of their own?

Event sitters are the latest and greatest in wedding and event vendors!  They allow for an adult-only party that lets you bring the kids.  This also allows the children to have fun and “party”, safely, much like their adult counterparts.  Most event sitters are pre-screened, CPR and First Aid certified and insured.  The cost of event sitters is similar to the cost of a full time babysitter and usually based on the number of kids. But with the comfort of knowing the children will be safe, it’s money well spent. So…after you figure out where the Big Game party is, call an Event Sitter near you to book the childcare!

Introducing…

Jessica McTaggart | Owner and Event Consultant

Pink Champagne!  Events and parties have always been something that I’ve loved doing since I was in high school.  As a Junior at Lamar High School, the first event that I ever assisted in planning was a motivational speaker for area schools.  As a member of the local DECA (Distributive Educational Clubs of America) chapter, I helped the Lamar Chamber of Commerce bring the famous Notre Dame football player, Rudy Ruettiger to speak to hundreds of students as part of a Philanthropic service project.  Planning the event produced an adrenaline rush that I hadn’t experienced before.  I couldn’t figure out if it was the fact that I had met a celebrity or if it was all of the attention to detail that the planning required to produce such an awesome event.  Either way, I was hooked!

After planning several parties my senior year of high school and into college, I realized that this was something that I wanted to get paid to do.  Some may say that getting an adrenaline rush from planning events is crazy, illogical, absurd, weird, or…well you get the idea!  But, seeing all of the pieces of the puzzle come together to produce a final product is something that I’m extremely passionate about. It is this passion that allows me to take the controllable stresses of planning any event away from the client so that they can enjoy the event as a spectator, instead of worrying about the outcome.
